About the Role

We’re recruiting an Optical Assistant / Dispensing Optician with experience who can bring warmth and professionalism to every patient interaction.

You’ll be trusted to:

• Deliver exceptional patient care from booking to collection
• Dispense accurately — including multifocal measurements and prescription analysis
• Fit and adjust spectacles with confidence
• Use our practice management system for appointments and patient journeys
• Maintain accurate records, billing and GOS submissions
• Understand our products, lenses, frames and new technologies (including smart eyewear)
• Support patients with aftercare and general enquiries
• Carry out recalls, admin and day-to-day practice operations
• Take pride in the environment — from organisation to cleanliness
• Train and support colleagues
• Help drive the practice forward with your ideas and initiative
