As an Independent Opticians we are proud to be an active part of all our communities across Ayrshire, in North, South & East, as well as further afield. It’s important to us to be involved and support the community in any way we can. The majority of our team live in Ayrshire so it’s our community too, and we know working together means achieving more and helping more people

With the introduction of smart eyewear, we help individuals with low vision regain confidence and independence. Funding from ER Good Causes enables us to provide this life changing technology to those who need it most.
We’re delighted to have supported Troon Football Club with our Care & Community Fund for November. The funding will help with the club’s Youth Academy and their new pitch for local clubs& groups to use as well.

We have partnered with Kilmarnock Football Club to provide 15% discount on frames and lenses for season ticket holders. As a local business, we are delighted to support a local team, and promote eyecare and hearing care to the fans. We also look after the player eyecare to make sure they never take their eyes off the ball!
Our Optometrists take the opportunity to go out and talk to the community whenever they can. We participate in school talks about the importance to regular eye examinations and why your vision is crucial. Optometrist Fiona and Linda have recently been to their local primary schools to talk to the pupils there, and Peter has returned to former school Auchinleck Academy to give a talk on business and what career opportunities there are in this area.

Our optometrists regularly visit local Rotary clubs and Women Guilds to talk about eye health, from cataracts to your vision and driving. It’s great to be out in the community meeting people and being able to provide some advice and information on eyecare.
