Kilmarnock Opticians kicks off new partnership with local football club

An independent opticians in Kilmarnock recently became an exclusive pitch-side sponsor for their local football team, marking a special achievement for the two Directors and long-time fans.

Urquhart Opticians in Kilmarnock have scored a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ opportunity to sponsor Kilmarnock Football Club, following the club’s recent pitch refurbishment which saw the installation of new blue astroturf around the pitch.

The practice's logo will be one of only two sponsors showcased on the new turf, making this a highly exclusive opportunity. For Directors, Peter Telfer and Alistair Duff,the partnership means even more.

As friends from a young age, the two took the reins at Urquhart Opticians in 2015 upon the previous owner’s retirement. Since then, Peter and Alistair have further built upon the practice’s widely recognised reputation, setting a high standard for eyecare within their local communities.

While their unwavering dedication to local independent eye care has remained as strong as ever, so has their friendship, one that was originally found through their joint support for Kilmarnock FC.
